WDR Invests In Orban's OPTIMOD 8700i

The Westdeutsche Rundfunk (WDR) is the public broadcaster in North Rhine-Westphalia, the federal state in Germany with the highest population. In terms of employees, the WDR is the biggest public radio and TV broadcaster in Germany and, after the BBC, the second largest in Europe. IBC Sneak Peek: Orban Unveils Optimod 8700i LT

At the IBC 2019 Orban will unveil Optimod 8700i LT audio processor — a light version of the firm’s flagship Optimod 8700i. According to the company, the economical Optimod 8700i LT combines versatile five-band and two-band processing with various features of the 8700i. It supports both analog FM transmission and digital media including DAB+, HD Radio and streaming.

     
     
 
AG-CX350: Engineered to Impress

‘Engineered to impress’ is the slogan that Panasonic have used to describe the AG-CX350, and we’d say that it is one that sums up its features nicely. The CX350 aims to reach a wide array of users, in addition to those from the more traditional newsgathering and documentary professionals. 4K image capture, 4:2:2 10-bit recording, built-in optical stabilisation, wireless streaming, the option to upgrade to NDI|HX.
