Apantac, provider of cost-effective multiviewers, video walls, signal processing and extension solutions, is introducing its new Universal Media Platform (UMP) at InfoComm 2013. The Universal Media Platform will be continually expanded to provide feature enhancements, to support the latest standards, and to provide a host of mix-and-match signal processing solutions.

22-24.05.2013 at the Exhibition Center "KievExpoPlaza" was held on the 19th Kyiv International TV and Radio Fair: TV, Radio, Telecommunications, Communication, Film, Photo market. The Engineer Service’s partners presented their new products and interesting solutions for visitors in Kiev.

At the booth of Engineer-Service at TV and Radio Fair 2013 was presented a range of Panasonic’s products. Visitor’s interest aroused HD studio camera Panasinic AK-HC3500. The Incorporating three high-performing 2/3" 2.2-megapixel IT CCDs, a newly developed 38-bit digital signal processor, and a 14-bit A/D converter, the HC3500 delivers exceptional HD images in 1080/59.94i and 1080/50i. Other functions that allow Dynamic Range Stretch (DRS) that varies the gamma correction to match the contrast within the image.

iGroup introduced a media asset management system iXferus in Kiev. iXferus archive has a powerful search engine with advanced intelligent network system and the possibility of mounting a strong innovative planning system broadcasts, and a variety of additional functions for the operation of modern television. iXferus can manage multiple independent channels simultaneously. The system is built in a modular and can be easily and quickly integrated into any production structure with a different set of equipment, thus necessarily take into account the available technology, the methods of preparation and production programs, the level of staff.

Harmonic Inc. introduced a range of solutions for the play-out and storage at exhibition in Kiev. Omneon MediaGrid system is Ethernet based shared storage system; Spectrum MediaDeck 7000 - media server provides the broadcast quality and mission-critical reliability, input-output modules MediaPort ™ 7000 can perform encoding and decoding for real-time ingest and playout; broadcasting platform Spectrum ™ ChannelPort ™ branded channel playout module speeds the cost-effective deployment of new SD and HD television channels. Also at exhibition were presented servers for Content & Workflow Management: MAS (Media Application Server), FilmPartners MXFserver and WFS (Workflow Server).

The RTS OMNEO solution incorporates a full DHCP client, mDNS and DNS-SD to support dynamic and static IP addressing. Also RTS OMNEO connection provides full bandwidth audio +/- 1 db from 50 Hz - 19 kHz with a typical latency of less than 20 ms.

The twin sister of Apollo in Greek mythology, Artemis is based on the award-winning Apollo platform. Available in three sizes and utilizing the same Bluefin2 and Hydra2 technologies, Artemis has an enormous routing and processing capacity. Bluefin2 gives Artemis Shine 680 channel processing paths, 340 on an Artemis Beam and 240 on an Artemis Light, with up to 128 program busses, 64 IFB/Track outputs and 32 auxiliaries. Artemis Light packs all this into a 4U enclosure.

At the exhibition TV and Radio Fair in Kiev Sound Devices introduced a variety of products: from the flagship models of video recorders and audio mixers to accessories. The greatest interest of the visitors were about video recorders, PIX-260 and PIX240i, with improved matrix display, digital recorder with 12 track to record audio 788T-SSD and a field Production Mixer 664.

At the exhibition TV and Radio Fair 2013 Bliscom company introduced its updated TV-series video controller. It is equipped with HD-SDI inputs and four video outputs. Each output of video controller generates fullHD image, allowing to display 4K video (3840x2160@60Hz) and unite a lot of video files, images and SDI signals, and apply various effects to them.

TV and Radio Fair Visitors in Kiev were able to see an advanced, integrated playout platform for broadcast television. It makes playout operation an efficient with no compromises in quality, flexibility or control.
