The European soccer season climaxes on Saturday with the UEFA Champions League final between Juventus and Barcelona in Berlin’s Olympiastadion, and Sony plans to capture it in 4K with the HDC-4300 taking a major role in the production.

Sony announced their latest offering for their professional line of compact camcorders, the Sony HXR-NX100. The HXR-NX100 is Sony’s entry model into its line of professional camcorders that promises high resolution, excellent low-light performance, accurate color reproduction, and ease of use without skimping on features or quality.

Sony have released new firmware for their high-end F5 and F55 cameras, bringing them to version 6. There are several bug fixes and improvements, with the headline change being the ability to record ProRes 4444 in-camera (for owners who have already paid Sony to upgrade their cameras to record ProRes at all).
