Testing the Sachtler Video 18 S2 tripod in Greenland

Beech Studios traveled to Iceland and East Greenland for three and a half weeks for a secret production. Two cameras, a RED Dragon and Sony A7 S2, supported with Sachtlers new Video 18 S2 tripod were the essential gear the 14-person crew from Beech Studios took on this dogsled and motor scooter adventure. Going days without a shower, eating dehydrated food for weeks, feeling the stab of unforgiving, glacial wind in subzero temperatures just a few of the things you deal with exploring the great outdoors. The making of video is now available online so you can experience, from the comfort of your home, the glacial wind and subzero temperatures.

But thankfully, with the advent of portable devices like smartphones and tablets, developers have been busy making useful tools to help you get a fantastic green screen lit, even before you set up your camera!
