BBC Wales Puts Dalet At The Core Of Its New Broadcast Center

Lectrosonics Duet Digital Wireless Monitor System Now Shipping

Lectrosonics announces that the highly anticipated Duet Digital Wireless Monitor (IEM) System is now shipping. The new system is comprised of the M2T dual-stereo half-rack transmitter and M2R diversity belt pack receiver. The Duet covers the UHF frequencies of 470MHz - 608MHz in a single range, uses digital modulation for transmission, and can accept analog or Dante (optional) digital inputs. The new system is designed and developed with professional touring, installation, theater, filmmaking, and broadcast customers in mind.

Sony Expands Pro memory Card Line-up with New CFast Range

Sony is launching a range of high performance CFast memory cards, which are designed to meet the needs of professional photographers and videographers. The G Series CFast 2.0 memory cards will be available in 32GB (CAT-G32), 64GB (CAT-G64) and 128GB (CAT-G128) capacities, responding to the ever increasing capabilities of high-end DSLR and 4K cinema-grade broadcast cameras. The cards offer lightning-fast write speeds of up to 510MB/s and read speeds of up to 530MB/s.

     
     
 
HDMI Forum Releases v2.1 of HDMI Specification

The HDMI Forum has officially rolled out version 2.1 of the HDMI Specification, which is now available for all HDMI 2.0 adopters. The updated HDMI Specification can now support higher video resolutions and refresh rates including 8K60 and 4K120, and resolutions up to 10K. Other new features include support for dynamic HDR formats and a bandwidth capability of up to 48Gbps.

     
     
 
ES Broadcast buys in fleet of Fujinon’s latest 4K box lenses

ES Broadcast Hire has bought 11 Fujinon UA27x6.5BE and 22 Fujinon UA107x8.4BE lenses. The new box lenses will sit alongside an existing inventory of Fujinon UA80x9BE 4K box lenses and UA14x4.5BERD and UA22x8BERD ENG lenses. The lenses are due for delivery in December and will be available for immediate hire.

Timecode Systems Releases Solution For GoPro HERO6 Cameras

Timecode Systems has unveiled the SyncBac PRO for GoPro HERO6 Black cameras, which will enable professional users of the camera to shoot in sync. Using the same timecode technology as the original SyncBac PRO, this release has been remodelled to work with the new GoPro HERO6 Black camera. By enabling the HERO6 to generate its own frame-accurate timecode, the SyncBac PRO creates the capability to timecode-sync multiple GoPro cameras wirelessly over long-range RF.
