Sony has unveiled system firmware update v.4.00 for the VENICE 2 Digital Motion Picture Camera. Sony highly recommends this update for immediate installation on all VENICE 2 systems to ensure highest performance.
   

Firmware Update v.4.00 is applicable to the following models:

• MPC-3626 / VENICE 2

• MPC-3628 / VENICE 2

If the current version is v.3.00 or earlier, you must first upgrade to v.3.90 before upgrading to v.4.00.

VENICE 2 Firmware Update v.4.00 includes:

• Support for CBK-3621XS Camera Extension System

• Introducing a new function (EL Zone system)

• Improved usability and operability

• Other improved functions
