The ODIN OMNEO digital matrix by RTS has been recognised by the iF DESIGN AWARDS. Founded in 1953, the iF DESIGN AWARDS were created to draw attention to, and celebrate, excellence in industrial design, as well as the impact that great design can have on society as a whole. Greatly influenced by the principles of the Bauhaus movement, the iF name rapidly became a globally trusted seal of quality.
The 2019 iF DESIGN AWARDS saw a jury of 67 experts moderating the choice of winning entries. Selected from a field of 6,400 products from 50 countries, ODIN will be celebrated as one of the finest examples of industrial design at a gala awards ceremony, taking place in Munich on 15th March.
ODIN condenses decades of experience and the latest RTS innovations into a scalable, compact single rack unit package that offers OMNEO IP technology along with analog connectivity.
“Since ODIN was launched in 2018, our users have been delighted with the extraordinary functionality that it delivers in such a compact form factor, and we have been proud to see ODIN used at many of the world’s highest profile events,” said Denis Castanet, Director Global Product Management, RTS. “Now we can also say that ODIN has been recognised as a truly innovative example of excellent design. We are extremely proud to accept this wonderful award.”
